Established in Western Kentucky in 1972 and incorporated in 1984, the John Clark Construction Company is family owned and operated.
We employ only the most experienced and talented personnel.
The officers have been with the company since its beginning and all project superintendents have been with the company over sixteen years.
Founder and President of John Clark Construction, John Clark has over 50 years of construction experience.
He has supervised many complex projects such as, football stadiums, indoor arenas, warehouses, factories, chemical plants, churches, schools, and office buildings.
Chris Clark is Vice-president of John Clark Construction
and has over 18 years experience as a contractor.
His accomplishments include:
- BS Construction Engineering Technology from MSU
- Served as President, Vice President and chair of numerous committees of the Western Kentucky Construction Association / Associated General Contractors
- Certified by the Kentucky Society of Health Care Engineers as a Healthcare Facility Contractor
- Member of the Young Constructors Forum
- Received the AGC National 2002 Chapter President of the Year Award
- Serves on the Architectural Review Board for the City of Murray
- Actively involved in church and children's school and athletics

To our knowledge, our company is the only one in our area that maintains full fall protection on all our pre-engineered metal building projects. We use proper equipment during primary and secondary steel erection and Beam Guard Horizontal Lifeline System during roofing operations. This is required to meet OSHA regulations but also ensures you that we will be working as safe as possible during the construction process.
